Managing your clients
For each client company assigned to you, you can do everything a client admin can do for their own company — no more, no less.
What you can change, per client
- Company name and contact details, allowed domains and the primary domain, brand color, logo, website, and support phone
- Whether shared mailboxes and aliases are included for that company
- Self-service template settings: whether employees may choose their own template, the cap on how many they can keep, and which templates are offered
- Per-domain settings: default template, default for shared mailboxes, stage, colors, and buttons
- Activating and deactivating aliases
- Marking mailboxes claimable, and each mailbox's template pool
- Card overrides, template previews, and triggering a sync (Sync now)
See Managing templates and Why a card shows "unavailable" for the details — they apply the same way whether you're a client admin or an MSP admin working inside a client's company.
What's off-limits
Some things are restricted for every admin, client or MSP, and are CAD-staff only:
- Billing and plan details (seat limits, rates, package)
- A company's status (active, suspended, archived)
- Creating, editing, or deleting templates in the shared catalog — you can only choose among what's already there
- Another MSP's companies, or anything about your own MSP's partner record
New clients
Setting up a brand-new client company is handled by CAD staff, including assigning it to your MSP. Once a company exists and is assigned to you, you take it from there using everything above. There's no self-service way to add a new client yet.
